After ten years as a family therapist Dr. Larry Koenig founded the "Up With Youth Company" in 1985; a pioneering organization devoted to the enhancement of self-esteem in young people. He has personally conducted seminars for more than 100,000 young people and trained over 7,500 teachers and counselors in his nationally acclaimed Smart Discipline system. Currently he serves as the president of the North American Society for Parent Training and Development.

Over 2,000 seminars per year are conducted in schools, churches, hospitals and businesses by his nationwide network of presenters. His new workshop on How to Raise Children With Strong Morals and Values is based on his book, Smart Values, and is fast becoming one of the most popular workshops in the country.

Dr. Koenig is the father of five and lives with his wife in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
