Meet Dr. Larry Koenig

After ten years as a family therapist, Larry created the Up With Youth Program, which has been acclaimed as the nation’s leading self-esteem workshop for adolescents. Over one hundred thousand kids have benefited from this program.

 

Larry is also the author of a number of books including Happily Married for Life (Cook, 2007) and Smart Discipline for the Classroom, 4th Edition (Corwin Press, 2007). 

 

Additionally, Larry is the author of Smart Discipline (HarperCollins, 2002, 2004), which has been featured on PBS, NPR and in People Magazine.  Over the last ten years it has become one of the most widely used systems of discipline in America today.  Smart Discipline is a powerful and practical system designed to guide children down a path to success in school and in life.

 

It is often said at his workshops that he has a delightful ability to talk about exactly what is going on in people’s homes and to give both meaningful and practical advice.

 

Larry has five children and lives with his wife in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

 

 

Meet Dr. Dale Hancock

Dr. Dale Hancock is a dynamic and popular speaker at schools and churches across America. Dale possesses an engaging and informative speaking style that attributes to the rave reviews he receives from the parents and teachers that attend his seminars. Dale speaks on topics that relate to child discipline at home, child discipline in the classroom, building self esteem in children, and "Even Keel" parenting. The majority of Dale's seminar bookings are derived from referrals from satisfied schools and churches.

 

Dr. Hancock is also the Director of Counseling at Pinedale Christian Church in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. His counseling specialties are Marriage and Family Therapy as well Child and Adolescent Therapy. Dale is a Nationally Certified Parent Trainer. Dale and his family live with their four Labrador Retrievers and two lazy cats in Clemmons, North Carolina.
